1How do I register for the Conference?

Register for the Conference by visiting the Annual Health Research website. Complete and submit the online form to finance-conference@carpha.org. The conference accepts Visa, MasterCard, Wire transfer, PayPal, and cash on conference.

 
2What is included in the cost of my registration?

Your registration provides you access to all of the plenary presentations, concurrent breakout sessions, exhibitors, and cultural opening ceremony, lunch and coffee breaks. Your registration type will determine your access to the award ceremony. Check the registration page for more information: https://conference.carpha.org/Registration

 
3Are meals included with my registration?

At the Conference, lunch and coffee breaks are provided on the first and second days of the conference. On the third day, only a morning coffee break is provided.

 
4Can I purchase my conference registration when I get to the meeting?

We encourage all attendees to register for the conference in advance. This allows us to plan accordingly for the appropriate number of attendees and manage accommodations. As a bonus, an early-bird discount for those who register by the designated deadline. Check the registration page for more information: https://conference.carpha.org/Registration

 
5Is hotel accommodation included in the registration fee?

The cost of hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for their own accommodation and travel cost. Please check the conference site for hotel accommodation and how to book your accommodations.

 
6Can I use cash for conference hotel services?

The Atlantis Paradise Island is the venue for the CARPHA Annual Health Research Conference works with a cashless system throughout the property. Cash is no longer accepted in any of the resort outlets or at the Front Desk upon check-out. All incidental charges are charged to a guest room or be paid electronically by card at the point of purchase. Guests are encouraged to prepare for international use of their credit cards prior to arrival.

 
7If I book with Atlantis Paradise Island, what fees are not covered under my accommodation rate?
  • A one-time Bellman’s fee of US$6 per guest, (not included in the accommodation rate), will be charged by the resort for persons over 12 years old.
  • An incidentals fee of $US150 per guest per night will be charged by the resort. This is required as the resort is cashless, and guests may need to make purchases. If the guest does not have a credit card it will be noted on check in and the guest can use a debit card to make purchases at the resort.
 
8Are CME credits offered at the conference?

Yes. CME credits will be awarded at the conference. Participants will need to apply for the credits daily. This will be awarded based on the participant’s attendance at the sessions.

 
9Do I require a visa to travel to The Bahamas?

Foreigners wishing to travel to The Bahamas may require a visa for entry into the country. Be sure to check the Visa Requirements for Foreign Visitors to The Bahamas to determine the visa requirements for your country. Please check the following links for more information.
