The Caribbean
Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is pleased to invite interested organisations and businesses
to its 69th Annual Health Research Conference.
The 2025 conference
theme is Mental Health: The Hidden Pandemic, which affects Caribbean
populations, particularly as it relates to depression, anxiety disorders, suicide, substance
abuse, violence etc. The conference also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being) global priorities. Thus, by supporting the conference,
you will be affiliated as leaders in addressing this critical public health issue that
affects entire populations
The Conference
takes place in-person and provides a range of opportunities for networking among
researchers, health professionals, industry representatives, and policymakers to encourage
interdisciplinary partnerships and collaborative research efforts. The conference also
provides a platform for the seamless exchange of knowledge, skills, and experiences to
promote capacity building within the health research community. Another important facet of
the annual conference is that it provides a platform for influencing health policy by
translating research evidence into practical applications and actionable recommendations for
policymakers and public health practitioners.
Historically, the
conference and associated meetings/events have attracted more than 200
regional/international delegates and meeting attendees in previous in-person formats. In
fact, the 2024 conference was attended by over 300 regional/international delegates.
